Intermountain is recognized as a leading healthcare system and a model for what is right in American medicine.The Network Support employee is responsible for assisting in the configuring and maintenance of the enterprise network environment including desktop support.  This includes implementation, configuration, coordination, control, maintenance, troubleshooting, support, security, usage monitoring and development of specialized procedures relating to the network, PC and printer environment within the enterprise.  This is a position located in the St. George and Cedar City area.  The candidate will have the responsibility of maintaining PCs, printers, and networks located in several clinics within the area.  This is a part-time position with a potential of becoming a full-time position next year. This position requires an Associate's Degree or equivalent work experience plus a minimum of 3 years experience working on PCs, printers and networking equipment.  Must be able to demonstrate ability to diagnose & resolve high-end PC desktop problems; have a working knowledge of company standard software suites (Microsoft Office); assist & interface with vendor support services to ensure escalation & resolution of downed resources & systems; respond to PC software & hardware problems utilizing testing tools and techniques; provide periodic maintenance (PM) on PCs and printers; participate in, and may coordinate complex projects; analyze network system problems and take corrective actions; requires strong knowledge of PC/LAN hardware and software; analyze high-level LAN/WAN problems and take corrective action; assists in system support, maintenance, and basic administration; recognize system needs; assists in network reporting and documentation; assume responsibility for monitoring security compliance and follow defined security policy; assist in the implementation of security policies; assist in the implementation, monitoring of network management system.  It is preferred that this person be a Microsoft Certified System Administrator (MCSA); have HP LaserJet printer maintenance and repair experience; TCP/IP Protocol experience; and have the ability to work without supervision.
