OE System Lead

The primary role of the OE System Lead position will be to provide Problem, Release, and Change Management leadership for Microsoft’s Business Intelligence line of business applications. Specific responsibilities include:·  Ownership of backend processes that will drive the future of Business Intelligence at Microsoft ·  Coordinating implementation of new releases into staging and production.·  Participating in project team activities prior to release and aiding in defining and driving operational best practices.·  Working independently within established processes and procedures.·  Communicating problem resolution and additional information to customer groups, project team, and IT support groups.·  Communicating technical and business problems in a non-technical manner to our customers.·  Providing prioritization of work for individual contributors on the team.·  Responsible for spearheading process improvements throughout organization.·  Providing guidance around analysis and troubleshooting for complex SQL Server issues. Requirements: BS/BA in a technical field and 5-7 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of training and work related experience is required. Strong written and verbal communications are required.
