Join a talent and winning team as an Oracle Business Analyst!Permanent Opportunity Job Summary:Primary responsibilities include supporting the day- to-day operations of several modules of the Oracle 11i E-Business Suite Financial Modules.  Includes working very closely with end users by being the functional area expert for the company's Oracle 11i Applications.  The Company needs a team player with strong communication & customer service skills with the ability to stay on task when working independently. Must be able to organize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Skills and Experience required for this position: § Oracle 11i experience required, 5 plus years experience with Oracle Applications. § 5+ years of experience writing technical and business specifications, as well as 5+ years business analyst experience.§ BS / BA degree in Accounting and/or MIS.§ Strong problem solving, communication and organization skills required. § Solid knowledge of flex fields, setup and profile options preferred. § Experience with executing SQL queries and understanding the underlying structure of the most common Oracle Applications tables a plus.  § Oracle Workflow, Oracle Discoverer, Oracle Discoverer Administrator and Oracle Alerts knowledge a plus.§ Demonstrated competency in verbal, written, and presentation communications and interpersonal understanding. § Demonstrated ability to research and understand customer issues. § Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain a high level of customer trust and confidence in the Information Technology team's knowledge of and concern for the customer's business needs. § Ability to work with all levels of employees and to influence and impact others. § Experience in developing others with demonstrated ability to achieve results through others. § Demonstrated organization and planning skills that include: project coordination and management, planning and scheduling, time management and the ability to handle multiple deadlines and associated pressures. § Experience in the adaptation to and the application of rapidly changing technology to business needs. § Demonstrated business systems understanding and orientation. § Demonstrated flexibility. § Ability to develop programs and to conduct training. § Demonstrated ability to work independently. § Achievement orientation, concern for quality, and a self-starter.§ Previous involvement in a major new development project.§ Ability to handle multiple assignments.§ Superior written and oral communication skills.§ Able to matrix manage, have strong project work and project planning experience.§ Previous experience in a full development life cycle.§ Perform well in a team environment. § Job Responsibilities:§ Provide functional support for the Oracle 11i Financials and Business Suite § Manage Technical Assistance Request (TAR's) with Oracle's Outsourcing Support and Service Delivery Manager to resolution including escalation while retaining ownership of the issues.  § Lead ongoing development of the Oracle Applications by utilizing functionality to improve business processes.  Includes the upgrade of current modules and implementation of new modules as required.  § Consult with end-users to analyze and understand needs, objectives, desired features, and input and output requirements. Provide end-user instruction and support to resolve application issues. § Advise on new solutions for enterprise business applications integration and functionality activation. Understand the impact of process changes and be able to guide process definitions accordingly. § Develop, coordinate, and implement plans to test business and functional processes and quality assurance testing. Lead functional acceptance testing of patches and upgrades.  Train and document processes.§ Coordinate user accounts for the 11i applications including security, Oracle responsibilities, workflow approvals and system privileges.  Includes set up and support of Oracle designated printers. § Analyze and solve complex problems, provide documentation, guidance and instruction to users at all levels.§ Coordinate and/or lead projects and department assignments. § Proactively work with Accounting, IT and internal business partners to provide assistance and advice with the implementation of new or enhanced Oracle financial applications and systems. § Work with business customers to identify and leverage global processes when possible. § Provide business systems analysis support for legacy and current systems daily support by managing system issues from discovery to resolution.  § Work with project leaders to develop project plans that reflect business analysis approach, deliverables and estimates.§ Provide ongoing support to the development team by tracking and resolving issues throughout the life of a project.§ Work with the Quality Assurance Team to ensure that systems functionality meets user requirements.§ Conduct application demonstration sessions. Required Oracle Modules Accounts ReceivableAccounts PayablePurchasingGeneral Ledger – strong Multi org / Multi currency experienceFixed Assets Other Oracle Modules IReceivablesEcommerce Gateway  If you are interested in this opportunity please send your resume and contact information to Candace at Cbeadles@selectgroup-rtp.com .
