Object Oriented Software Programmer

DESCRIPTION

This full-time position is for a software programmer with experience in object-oriented languages and the desire to pick up new skills coding in a custom environment. While knowledge of Web-based, database-driven languages is a big plus, we will train and provide you with the knowledge necessary to develop and maintain business applications with our custom tool set.

 

You will participate in each stage of the software development life cycle. This includes working with QA and support teams to identify and eliminate software irregularities. It also includes providing customized software that extends base functionality to solve unique problems for individual customers.

 

We value education as well as experience so this position requires a completed 4-year degree or commensurate experience.

 

SKILLS THAT WILL MOVE YOU TO THE TOP OF THE STACK

Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, Java or other object-oriented languages is a must. Experience with Microsoft SQL, Crystal reports and Sybase a plus. Prior development of applications such as Timberline, Great Plains or Wennsoft is also a plus.
