Online Marketing Manager

Overview:

 

The Online Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and implementing online marketing strategies and programs to acquire new customers and increase customer conversion rates at key customer touch points.

 

Responsibilities:

 

· Conceive and implement programs designed to attract new audience to the site (increase reach)

· Optimize the effectiveness of existing acquisition and retention marketing programs via paid search CPC campaigns, e-mail marketing, affiliate program growth and conversion rate maximization, Search Engine Optimization, and contests and sweepstakes

· Monitor ROI goals on all online marketing activities and adapt accordingly

· Provide ongoing tracking and analysis of consumer site behavior through market analysis, competitive analysis and site analytics as they relate to e-commerce performance

· Direct promotions, events and marketing campaigns for the Retail Marketing team

· Develop and drive new client acquisition and existing client retention programs

· Monitor customer loyalty, retention and acquisition trends

· Monitor performance of e-mail campaigns, establish goals for each campaign and ensure optimum performance for all e-mail activities

· Collaborate with ad sales team to optimize advertising opportunities across all properties

 

Qualifications:

 BA/BS degree in business, marketing or related field.  MBA strongly preferred.5 – 7 years marketing or merchandizing experience with 5+ years in developing and executing online programsDeep understanding of online retailing best practices including onsite search, e-mail deployment and site functionalityProven online marketing, customer acquisition, retention program development and managementExperience in developing, implementing and measuring online marketing strategiesSolid understanding of metrics tracking and analysisOutstanding project management skillsStrong oral and written communication skillsSolid analytical, technical and problem solving skillsAbility to interpret research reports and utilize data
