Online Sales Manager

Online Sales Manager:

 

Summary: Online Sales Manager is responsible for the performance and upkeep of all internet initiatives. The candidate will work closely with development staff and upper management to achieve internet sale and promotional goals.

 

Responsibilities:

 

-  Oversight of day to day website updates, additions, enhancements, and the creation of new sites, including graphics, HTML, JavaScript, as well as implementation and maintenance of shopping cart software.

-  Supervision of web development staff, including scheduling, assignment of tasks and ensuring completion of projects by specified deadlines.

-  Monitoring and optimization of search engine keyword cost per click campaigns.

-  Oversight of promotional opt-in email campaigns.

-  Maintenance of third-party shopping comparison website accounts.

-  End-to-end oversight of internet orders, including processing and record keeping.

-  Communicating with customers and product vendors as needed.

-  Maintaining accounts with internet vendors (hosting, search engines, domain registrars, etc)

-  Providing management with detailed reports on website performance.

 

Skills and Experience:

 

-  Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and other web development technologies.

-  Thorough understanding of the general web development process.

-  Fluency in Adobe Photoshop, Acrobat, Dreamweaver, and Microsoft Office Suite.

-  Familiarity with PHP, PERL, SQL, and Windows servers.

-  Good organization and attention to detail.

-  Good writing and communication skills.

-  Experience with e-commerce software applications.

-  Experience managing large website projects.
