Open-Source Software Developer - Java PlatformAre you committed to and a believer in open-source software?  Have you dedicated your personal time to a community-based development environment?  Do you really love programming and technology?  Do your friends and family hate listening to you talk about it all the time?Well, then we have just the thing for you...A revolutionary company has immediate needs for Java developers with strong background in open-source solutions/developmen.  They are looking for candidates with a bleeding-edge sense of technology and a full Web 2.0 understanding.  If you love technology and you love to learn new, emerging languages and techniques, then this might be the perfect solutions for you.Qualifications:•  Extensive experience developing multi-tiered web applications on open source platforms utilizing Java/J2EE, XML, SQL, AJAX, REST, SOAP, ESB, AOP, SOA, JavaScript, HTML and other related technologies and concepts •  Extensive experience working with open source frameworks and technologies such as JBOSS, Tomcat, MySQL, Struts 2.0, Spring, Hibernate, SiteMesh, Alfresco, GWT, Maven, Mule, Linux, JUnit, Selenium, etc. •  Experience with Agile Development (SCRUM / Extreme Programming) practices, such as Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Iterative Development, and Pair Programming•  Rules / Recommendation / Personalization engine experience is a plus •  Ruby/Rails or Groovy/Grails experience is a plus •  Leader or contributor in open-source Java software is a big plus Qualified Candidates Should Also Possess: •  Excellent communication skills •  Experience working in fast-paced, collaborative, team-oriented environments •  Passion for the customer and technology •  Ability to adapt to new development processes and changing business requirements •  Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
