Open source Java engineers needed -- Junior-Lead roles

A rapidly growing software development company led by one of the top entrepreneurs in Orange County currently has several openings for Java engineers at all levels from Junior to Senior/Lead. Company offers an excellent work environment with an extremely talented group of engineers in addition to competitive salary, medical benefits, dental, PTO, and 401K with company match. There is a Los Angeles office as well that could be an option for the right candidate.

Skill Set:

 

Jr. Position

-0-2+ years all around Java/J2EE experience

-Experience with open source Java development

-Familiarity with Spring, Hibernate, Struts

-Experience with Voice technology is a plus

-Familiarity with JEE 5/Glassfish is a plus

-Superior communication skills are required for this position.

-At least a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

 

Senior/Lead Position

-7+ years software development experience

-At least 4 plus years Java/J2EE/JEE 5

-Solid experience with open source Java development

-Experience working in a commercial product development environment is strongly preferred

-Experience mentoring junior developers/leading a team is a big plus

-Experience with Voice technology is a plus

-Familiarity with JEE 5/Glassfish is a plus

-Superior communication skills are required for this position.

-At least a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. A Master’s degree is strongly preferred.
