Operations Account Manager

We are a high-energy team which interfaces with partners and multiple internal groups such as Sales, Marketing, Pricing, Distribution, Traffic, Credit and Collections, IT, SAP support, and Vendor Partners. This role involves managing the order fulfillment process and execution of sales and marketing programs and plans. This role also participates in identifying improvements and enhancements to the overall E2E supply chain. The OAM shares the goal of creating an integrated, efficient, stable and scaleable high volume transactional environment and delivering customer supply chain value and satisfaction by achieving the right product, right place and right time. Description:Operations Account Manager (OAM) is accountable to meet customer operational metrics and to maximize efficiency opportunities in collaboration with sales and other functional teams. As an OAM you will be accountable to manage the operational relationship between Microsoft and one or more external partners, measure and control order to cash processes including the following functions: Contract ManagementExternal and internal systems and toolsBusiness review participationOrder Life cycle - launch, sustain, EOLPricingQuery managementValue added servicesCredit discrepanciesProgram executionPartner Inventory Control The OAM execution is managed via SAP and other internal tools, and involves close coordination with the external partner buyers & re-buyers to plan large launches, promotional activities and inventory allocations.Experienced OAM team members participate, (and sometimes lead), projects and teams to create/change systems / tools, processes and drive partners’ initiatives across North America Home and Entertainment Division. QUALIFICATIONS3+ years experience preferred in Account Management preferably in retail consumer packaged products (working primarily with replenishment buyers, inventory analysts, and merchandise assistants).3+ years experience preferred in Supply Chain operations from the 3+ Retail/Distributor perspectiveGood experience in process mappingStrong attention to detail with the ability to plan, organize and coordinate.Experience in Project Management (leading small projects and participating in larger cross-team projects).Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Products, especially Excel skills (use of Pivot tables for organizing, analyzing and presenting data).Ability to learn new systems and adjust to a rapidly changing environment in order to operate the business and make recommendations to improve them.Good communication & presentation skills with the ability to influence customers and cross-functional teams.Ability to identify root cause of an issue, collaborate with internal functional teams and/or escalate as needed.
