Operations Controls - Energy Management Systems

An award-winning provider of sustainable energy-savings solutions throughout North America, AMERESCO, Inc. has new opportunities for experienced Energy Services Controls professional to manage customer building automation system needs.  Will partner with Construction and Operations Teams to commission and close out building automation system projects, ensuring fulfillment of customer energy savings expectations. This position is located in the greater Framingham, MA area.

 RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Partner with Construction Team to review proposed control strategies and provide recommendations for improved energy efficiency

· Provide timely and efficient customer service response; collaborate with site staff to resolve concerns

· Perform EMS inspections and equipment maintenance to ensure energy savings performance and delivery in accordance with customer contract requirements

· Assure proper M&V equipment functionality, with data accurately recorded and stored

· Provide timely reporting of equipment, EMS needs for attention & assist verifying problem resolution

· Full compliance with industry, trade, and safety standards, practices, codes, and jurisdictional authorities

 

REQUIREMENTS:

· Trade or Vocational School plus minimum 3 years’ progressive building automation controls and HVAC experience required, including installation, troubleshooting, operation, maintenance & repair

· Prior experience with building automation, integration, and HVAC systems desired

· Knowledge of Honeywell, Invensys, Andover controls, JCI, Siemens or Tridium desired

· Familiarity with industry standard control, data collection and/or electronic and internet communication platforms such as Ethernet, Modbus, BacNet, Lonworks, and HTML

· Strong verbal, written, technical language and computer communication skills

· Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and transport equipment and tools in excess of 300 lbs

· Valid Drivers’ License issued by state of residence and in good standing

· Ability to work on a flexible schedule and provide on-call response

· U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Residence status required

· May be required to pass security clearance investigation

· Travel required, may include overnight assignments
