Operations Engineer

in our Broomfield office!

 

This position is a member of the Operations Engineer Team. The primary job function is to work with customers/partners to install client software and maintain software/hardware patch levels for the various Incentra Solutions Managed Storage Services (MSS).

POSITION DUTIES: Installation of client backup and/or monitoring softwareConfiguration, testing and troubleshooting of new MSS clientsDirect interaction with customers/partners via phone and emailScheduled and reactive installation of maintenance, security and application patchesTier3 support for Network Operations Center24x7 On-call support for Incentra Solutions NOC on a rotating basis

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

·  Experience with Veritas NetBackup or CommVault Galaxy

·  Experience with Windows, Solaris, Linux

·  Experience with tape libraries or disk arrays

·  Experience with Exchange, Lotus Notes, Oracle, MS-SQL

·  Network management, creation (VPN, LAN, firewalls, routers)

·  Script creation to automate tasks

·  Process and procedure driven

·  Functions well multi-tasking environment

·  Good verbal, written and interpersonal skills

·  Should have strong analytical and problem solving skills 

·  Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel and Outlook

·  Ability to adjust work hours to meet customer/partners needs
