Oracle Applications Manager

This position will supervise a team of Oracle Applications functional leads, business analysts and developers supporting the company's Oracle eBusiness suite of applications. Primary responsibilities of this position include assuming a leadership role in delivering ongoing application support, functional enhancements, and project management for global Oracle application modules. This will require working closely with the Director of Business Applications and user community to identify future requirements and prioritize/schedule projects. Additionally, the Oracle Applications manager will be responsible for managing standards and processes for the development and maintenance of worldwide Oracle applications to ensure the team delivers customer focused services in a timely, measurable, secure and cost effective manner. Lead a team of Oracle functional leads, business analysts and developers supporting the following Oracle modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Order Management, Pricing, Purchasing, iProcurement, iExpenses, Inventory, Manufacturing, Project Accounting, Project Management, Oracle Time and Labor, Service Contracts and Install Base. Manage team member assignments to various projects and initiatives, providing mentoring and support, and ensuring ongoing review and evaluation of performance Build strong partnerships with internal customers to understand business challenges, collaborate on possible solutions, estimate project effort and costs, prioritize against constraints, and manage the service delivery process Provide hands on Oracle project management for large cross functional initiatives. Requires ability to be an effective leader for a diverse set of stakeholders including internal customers, external customers, IT team members, software vendors, and independent contractors Manage the ongoing evaluation and optimization of internal processes, IT controls, and application delivery methodologies 6 - 8 years hands-on Oracle Applications 11i - must state module specific experience. Must demonstrate significant experience managing global large scale, full life-cycle Oracle project implementations including: project scoping, design and build, testing, cutover planning and execution, and post-implementation support. 3 -5 years in a management role with direct reports. Experience managing in a Sarbanes-Oxley environment a plus.
