POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Blackbird Technologies employs individuals who have a creative and forward thinking approach to product development.  We are currently seeking an Oracle DBA to support our Product Development Group (PDG) products that integrate with an Oracle database server.  The main responsibilities of this position will be administration of an Oracle databases from development to production. The position will also require modifications of existing schemas and the design and implementation of new schemas within the database.  This position is a full-time position that will also include providing other database and system administration support within various projects within PDG.  The successful candidate must also be willing to support occasional off-hours upgrades, testing and maintenance.

Required Skills/Education:

·         Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline

·         A minimum of 2 years experience as an Oracle DBA

·         Solid understanding of Oracle, Windows and Linux applications is a must

·         Must have good written and verbal communication skills

·         Must be comfortable working both individually as well as in a team environment
