Position will be responsible for: - Moitoring and analyzing the performance of Oracle database systems and initiate security measures when appropriate. - Providing database and applications development support. - Evaluating and recommending software upgrades, revisions, fixes and patches - Developing effective backup and recovery procedures - Troubleshooting production system problems Minimum requirements include five years experience with 9i and 10g database environments; experience in a 24/7 production environment; extensive Unix experience; solid capacity monitoring and management skills; works well within a team environment. Experience with installation, patching and cloning of Oracle E-Business Suite 11i, and experience with RAC, RMAN and Oracle Enterprise Manager are preferred.
