Oracle/Functional Project Analyst- Inventory

Position Duties: Include number of direct reports and departmental interactions· Work collaboratively on strategic, division wide projects related to process migration to Shared Services and to global financial applications such as Oracle. · Involvement requires strong problem solving, communication, presentation and analytical skills. · Support or lead initiatives focused on process design, system configuration, data conversion, system implementation, reporting and project management. · Collaborate with cross functional and technical teams to gather data, analyze options and make decisions for process design, build process maps and solutions and roll out the processes to support the solution.· Prepare BP80 process flows and document processes, roles and responsibilities.· Prepare process change and detailed Oracle process training documents and potentially help in training to various market colleagues of potentially non native English speaking countries and shared service organizations.· Collaborate with cross functional teams to harmonize data elements across multiple systems and functionalities.· Develop and assist in automating data retrieval and analysis techniques.· Ensure processing efficiencies utilizing innovative technical and processing solutions.  Ensure process changes are in compliance with accounting / internal control policies.  · Maintain communication channels to all levels of management within divisions.· Work independently and with other departments / international locations to research, analyze and resolve discrepancies.· Ability to travel internationally as required based on project requirements.  Qualifications: Include prior experience preferred, training and education preferred, and technical competencies.· Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Accounting / Business Administration is required. CPA and/or MBA preferred.  · Five to seven years overall experience with two to three years experience improving, auditing, managing, or converting Inventory processes preferred.  Supervisory experience preferred.  · Prior project management experience and/or PMP or Six Sigma Certification is a plus.  Or must demonstrate understanding of project management related to timeframes, dependencies and critical paths. · Knowledge related to accounting systems, ERP applications and finance applications is essential.  · A strong working knowledge of corporate policies and procedures related to accounting systems, processes, audit and SOX requirements is essential.· Strong accounting, interpersonal, and organizational skills are a must.· Strong written/oral communication, presentation and training delivery skills are a must.  · Ability to lead consensus building efforts across a variety of teams/clients with conflicting priorities and deliver results in a manner which meets the client’s needs efficiently and accurately.  · Demonstrated ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously is required.· Demonstrated ability to learn new concepts and quickly adapt to changing priorities.· Knowledge of Microsoft Products is essential:  Access, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Word.
