Position Requirements:

1) Develop software to gather and analyze statistics on failures in targeted delivery of content to a network of set top boxes

2) Develop software to assist in measuring the efficacy/performance of our recommendation engine to help maximize customer satisfaction with recommendations 

3) Develop software to assist in measuring the efficacy/performance of our content delivery scheduler for targeted delivery of media to individual users to help improve customer experience

4) Assist in development of Java applications to interface the recommendation engine and scheduler with other applications and/or set top box messaging subsystem

 

Qualifications:

1) BSCS or equivalent required.  Strong analytical skills in data/pattern analysis

2) Strong database / data mining experience helpful

3) Solid server side experience with scalable applications in Java

4) Statistics or mathematics background would be a plus

5) Prior experience in monitoring behavior/performance of networked devices is a plus
