Location: Chapel Hill, NC 27517Your location:home   »  find a job   »  advanced search   »  job description Apply Online Send this Job to a Friend Responsibilities:       The Data Warehouse and Integration Developer will be a member of the Data Management group. S/he will initially be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and deploying incremental modules for our next generation financial Data Warehouse platform. Over time, the Developer will transition to working on data integration projects, using ETL tools to move data from our Security Master and Data Warehouse systems to other enterprise systems.The Developer will work in a high demand, changing environment, with a team of fairly technical people. S/he will be challenged with understanding the financial meaning behind the data being sourced to/from the Security Master and Data Warehouse systems.Requirements:         WOULD LIKE TO SEE SOMEONE THAT IS MORE DATA INTEGRATION INTENSIVE. Emphasis on system integration such as ETL (ETL isn't required but highly preferred). SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) can count as ETL/integration experience.Someone that could build a data warehouse.2 (minimum requirement) to 4 yrs. of experience. Strong Microsoft SQL Server database skills (design, stored procedures, view-based processing, etc.)Medium to high Data Warehouse and Data Integration experience. Strong development, technical and analytical skills. Good personal, communication and documentation skills. Ability to work independently with little supervision. Ability to multitask and play multiple roles as required. Aptitude for investigating and using new technologies. Preferred Credentials and Experience:     Experience in the financial industry. Experience managing data as a resourcePreferred Education: Four year college degree in Information Systems, Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent technical field. Finance, Business, or Economics education or experience.
