Job ID: 907Position Description: Peopleclick has an immediate opening in the Raleigh, NC office for a PHP/.NET Software Development Engineer. Works with other technical staff to understand and to develop resolution of software problems. Resolves customer complaints with software and respond to suggestions for software modifications or enhancements. Analyzes client needs and software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time, cost, and performance constraints. Works with product management and engineering staffs to determine product goals, specifications, and timelines. Writes system documentation, test plans, and release notes; participate in the development of software user manuals. Provides technical assistance to other departments through troubleshooting software issues.Position Requirements:Fully-qualified level handles moderately complex to complex problems and has latitude for independent judgment. Minimum three (3) years combined PHP and .NET software programming experience that includes product design. Good knowledge of Open Source programming techniques. Good skills in writing and testing software code. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication skills.Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field. If no degree, equivalent experience (1 year of experience = 1 year of college) will be considered. Preferred Skills: Linux, Apache, MySQL, SQLServer, HTML, CSS, Javascript, .NET.
