Position Overview:
As a key member of the PMO Team, this individual will be responsible for providing leadership towards the establishment, implementation and support of Portfolio and Risk Management tools, services, practices and procedures. This individual will be the knowledge expert within the team and provide the leadership needed for driving to meet the PMO's Objectives in these specific areas. CCC's PMO is directly responsible for defining, implementing, supporting, sustaining and governing all processes and procedures for PD and related organizations. In 2008, the PMO will be expanding its services and will also be supporting the initiatives of the newly created ePMO.
Responsibilities:
Provide knowledge leadership on Portfolio Management
Provide knowledge leadership on Risk Management
Identify through individual and team work the strategic and tactical methods to achieve the PMO's objectives in the area of Portfolio Management
Identify through individual and team work the strategic and tactical methods to achieve the PMO's objectives in the area of Risk Management
Provide project estimates (resource, cost, time, scope) for related project initiatives
Determine high level requirements to meet Portfolio and Risk Management Objectives
Define and document processes and procedures to support requirements
Define Implementation and Change Management plans for meeting objectives in a phased approach
Create and/or review the creation of appropriate training materials
Provide training, mentoring and other services related to effective Portfolio and Risk Management practices, tools and techniques
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in relevant technical or engineering discipline
MS or MBA desirable
Requires over 2 years of software development, process reengineering or related work experience
Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred, but not required.
Strong experience in analysis, design, implementation of tools, software, processes and procedures, following PMO methods and governance
2 years project management experience
Direct and key responsibilities in Portfolio and Risk Management
Worked ina PMO or in close association with a PMO organization (or equivalent)
Strong Project Management and Change Management experience and/or training
