Partner Support Specialist intern

If you answered yes to any of these questions, this open Partner Support Analyst position at DivX could be just the career move you've been looking to make this year. The Partner Support Engineering team is the first point of contact for all DivX consumer electronics, software and content partners. We help our consumer electronic partners through the DivX certification process with an eye to understanding our partners' business requirements and production timelines to get the job done right, on schedule and with the highest quality. In this role, we answer a wide range of questions as they relate to our partners' business and technical needs, from contract licensing to Software Development Kit (SDK) clarification. THE EVERYDAY VIEWThe Partner Support Analyst will be responsible for processing DivX certification applications and working with our legal team, certification technicians and other related departments to resolve any application issues. The Partner Support Analyst may also be responsible for updating our database with partner company information and contract deliverables, and will perform other administrative and database-related activities. Analyze existing contractual partner data and product information to accurately process each DivX certification applicationManage processes and procedures to accurately process certification applicationsUpdate partner application and device information within the RightNow Technologies databaseWork with related departments within DivX to work through any application processing issuesExecute newly signed DivX partner contractsAssist with delivery of DivX intellectual property Send announcements and key information through the RightNow Technologies system Answer phone calls from potential and existing DivX partners Assist with updates to the DivX Partner Portal FAQ database Assist with all inventory management of partner collateral and training kitsAssist with organizing and maintaining all team materials, printing and purchasing needsAssist with shipment of partner deliverablesUpdate partner and product information on DivX.comREQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEWe need our Partner Support Analyst to be a highly motivated and enthusiastic professional who takes full responsibility and accountability. You must have experience in a customer service or technical support role, and be willing to takes initiative by recommending changes to improve efficiency. Experience in, or strong knowledge of audio and video related consumer electronics products and manufacturers is a huge plus. Other requirements include:Strong organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skills in dealing with partnersFamiliarity with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel and PowerPointThe ability to exercise independent judgment within defined guidelines and structureThe ability to easily pick up new application tools and processesAn associate's degree as well as demonstrated technical aptitude and computer skills are requiredOther technical credentials are a plus ABOUT DIVXDivX is a community rich with culture and informed by creativity, intelligence and passion for all that is possible with digital media.
