RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for all facets of the analysis, planning, design and development effort for implementation, upgrade and production support related to PeopleSoft applications with the focus on Financials and Supply Chain modulesDevelop detailed technical specifications using knowledge of PeopleSoft data modelMake recommendations to improve, streamline and automate specific PeopleSoft functional areasConfigure/develop PeopleSoft objectsDocument the design and business process development Work with end users to help resolve production support issues and current design issues. Provide end user training as needed.Responsible for issue and problem monitoring. Prepare test plans and assist in the system test and quality assurance process for vendor patches and system upgradesManage user expectations by providing feedback on alternatives and current statusDevelop reports/queries to support business reporting needs Coordinate module patches, bundles and upgrades, including testing, documentation and implementationRequired Experience
QUALIFICATIONS:5+ years of experience as a Software/Applications Administrator, Developer or Analyst or related discipline2+ years of PeopleSoft Technology Administration experience supporting either Oracle or Microsoft SQL Server platforms2+ years Development experience in PeopleTools, PeopleCode, ApplicationFunctional/Technical experience in PeopleSoft version 8.8, or higher specifically in PeopleSoft Enterprise Finance and Supply Chain modulesEngine, Application Designer, PeopleSoft Cobol, and Component Interface is requiredMust have implementation and development skills plus experience with the application implementation life cycle, including: requirement analysis, fit/gap analysis, application configuration, functional/technical specifications, integration, product enhancement and supportExperienced in security, workflow, customization standards, reporting (SQR, Crystal, PS nVision, PS/Query), and self-service applicationsExperience with PeopleSoft Internet Architecture including Web, Application and Process Scheduler Servers.Experience with PeopleSoft Integration Broker, Upgrade Assistant and/or Change Assistant toolsHands-on SQL experience using technologies such as MS-SQL and Oracle DBExperience in PeopleSoft Enterprise CRM and HR applications would be big plusExperience in Quest STAT and/or Foglight would be big plusBlackboard Inc. is an equal employment opportunity employer and considers qualified applicants for employment without regard to race, gender, age, color, religion, national origin, marital status, disability, sexual orientation, or any other protected factor.Please apply directly at: http://hostedjobs.openhire.com/epostings/jobs/submit.cfm?fuseaction=dspjob&jobid=250390&company_id=15819&jobboardid=24
