PeopleSoft Business Analyst

Mercer's Retirement Administration Center (RAC) implements and hosts the PeopleSoft Pension Administration software for clients who want a cosource pension system. We are currently working on several implementations across the United States. Our group is looking for energetic, self-motivated, and ambitious individuals who want to work at the forefront of information technology.  We are seeking candidates with a proven track record who can demonstrate the ability to adapt to new environments and learn new technologies rapidly. We actively train our PeopleSoft consultants to ensure they are current on the latest software development tools and technologies. The Defined Business Analyst will provide analysis and consulting services to clients by assisting with the customization and implementation of the PeopleSoft Pension Administration system. National travel is required—approximately 10-30%, depending on stages of development. Responsibilities: Identifying specific pension requirements based on defined benefit plan design and plan documentation. Translating client/ plan requirements into technical specifications. Working with the client’s pension administration staff to ensure the pension administration processes are captured in the implementation of the software. Providing functional knowledge of defined benefit plans to technical development staff. Configuring the software to accommodate client’s pension plans by entering parameters in the system. Developing testing criteria and conducting system testing to validate the operation of the system. Working with limited supervision while providing constant feedback on project status and deadlines. Qualifications:College graduate. Additional work on Society of Actuaries or Certified Employee Benefit Specialist examinations is a plus. 2+ years defined benefit experience such as defined benefit administration, pension system automation or actuarial benefit calculations. Working knowledge of pension administration, financial, human resources, or payroll software is a plus. Direct experience with the development of requirements, programming specifications, and testing is a plus. Experience with PeopleSoft software and/or tools is a plus.
