Position Description

 

1.  Create performance-test plan

2.  Create performance-test models, scripts, and scenarios

3.  Conduct performance-tests

4.  Create test reports and present test results to project-team

 

Required Skills/Background

 

1.  5 Years in Quality Assurance and Software Testing roles, with emphasis on application performance testing

2.  Firm understanding of software-testing methodology, quality assurance and SDLC

3.  Excellent documentation and verbal presentation skills

4.  5 Years of experience with Mercury Load Runner and 1 year of experience with Mercury Performance Center.  1 year of experience using Mercury Virtual User Generator (VuGen), specifically with the Citrix protocol.

5.  Ability to analyze the usage of live systems to formulate accurate performance-testing models

6.  Ability to construct performance-test scripts and scenarios from existing business scenarios.

7.  Strong Windows operating-system background, with understanding of the key drivers and influences on performance (CPU, Memory, IO, etc)

8.  Experience with Mercury Test Director for Quality Center
