Your responsibilities:

· As the designer of individual software components, you will be responsible for their continuous development as well as tracking and resolving any problems within those components.
· You will be responsible for the integration of your components with others in a Perl based architecture.
· You will be in charge of the quality and integrity of the component's implementation.


Your profile:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or other related field.
· At least 2 years in object oriented software analysis & design
· At least 2 years in programming in Perl.
· A good understanding of internet technologies.
· Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills.
· You must live and be authorized to work in the U.S.


Your technical skills:

· At least 2 years of experience with Perl.
· Experience with DBI, FastCGI / mod_perl programming with Perl
· Strong Linux experience
· Experience with version control tools (CVS or Subversion)
· Experience with RDBMS (mySQL, Oracle).
· Knowledge of XML as well as SOAP, REST.


Bonus skills:

· Experience with Ruby/RoR and/or php.
· Experience with apache, nginx, mysql performance tuning.

· Experience with Java/J2EE, Spring & Hibernate, JSF, Facelets.
· Experience with common application servers for J2EE, especially JBoss & Tomcat.
· Knowledge of popular Java/J2EE related open source tools (e.g. Eclipse, Maven).
