High level of knowledge of SAP R/3 integration with MM/PP/OF. Excellent understanding and expertise of SAP System Configuration. Appreciation of Validation and Compliance requirements for system development and support. Experience working in a Validated environment is a plus. Experience with Warehouse Management Systems. Strong understanding of warehouse operations outside of SAP. Detailed knowledge and experience of developing complex solutions in the WM area of SAP R/3. Windows XP and Microsoft ProductsMajor Job Responsibilities: Act as the expert second line support providing support on the business process in WM/MM. Provide expert technical guidance on WM/MM processes. Carry out detailed impact assessments for proposed change requests, proposing alternate cost-effective solutions where appropriate. Lead, evaluate, develop, test and implement release of developments according to the validation procedures. For those change requests requiring incremental spend, pro-actively seek funding via project approval process and develop project plans and identify risks. Work with other functions to identify opportunities for process improvement both in the business as well as in IT and assist in the implementation of those agreed. Consistently deliver high quality services and solutions that meet business requirements and ensure that goals are accomplished in line with business objectives. Where appropriate (e.g. subsets of projects) to track, monitor, review, and report project progress. Recognize, analyze, and solve system or applications problems as they are encountered. Actively share ideas, information, knowledge and data to accomplish collaboration for the success of the team, project or task.Experience PreferredOther SAP functional areas such as SD, WM, FI/CO, MM, Master Data, expertise are a plus. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and strong leadership and mentoring skills. Capable to work in a cross functional and globally dispersed team environment. Ability to contribute to the successful development of projects from inception to successful implementation and to fully operational status. Experience of working within Medical and Pharmaceutical industry or FDA regulated industry. Practical experience in operations related to warehouse management.
