Pharmacy Business Systems Analyst

ScriptPro develops, provides and supports state-of-the-art, robotics-based management and workflow systems for pharmacies.  ScriptPro is dedicated to helping pharmacies lower operating costs reduce dispensing errors and maximize customer satisfaction.  ScriptPro technology reduces manual dispensing tasks, allowing pharmacists to assume roles in medication therapy management.

Responsibilities Include:

·  Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates pharmacy business systems and user needs.

·  Assists pharmacy personnel in the evaluation, processing, and handling of insurance claims.

·  Reviews claim data to make sure that technical billing requirements are met, coordinates payer sheet updates, answers technical insurance inquiries, and makes recommendations for resolution.

·  Assists pharmacy personnel in the technical analysis of denied reimbursement claims.

·  Provides advanced internal/external technical support for ScriptPro proprietary software systems.

·  Support activities include encoding, debugging and testing of ScriptPro proprietary software systems by writing and editing software programs after conducting a technical analysis and review of system performance.

 

Required Skills:

 

·  Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience

·  Strong analytical skills, including a high level of attention to detail

·  Excellent customer service skills and a "can do" attitude

·  Experience and/or knowledge of pharmacy management systems and pharmacy business operations

·  Experience and/or knowledge of pharmacy insurance billing, healthcare insurance claims, or insurance payment recovery

·  Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·  Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and functions
