Job Description:

 

We are looking for a highly motivated software engineer to work in the engineering team of the Place & Route Division. You will be part of a team responsible for designing, developing, debugging and supporting the Olympus-SOC family of digital IC implementation products. Responsible for EDA tool research and development. Develops ASIC design database system which provides applications schema support, interface and utilities. Expected to identify solutions to problems with guidance. Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of identifiable factors.

Requirements:MS/PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related discipline. Strong background in data structures and algorithms. Excellent software programming skills with hands-on C/C++ programming experience under Unix/Linux.  Scripting language knowledge/experience is a plus. Experience working with large existing software systems or development of C++ libraries is highly recommended. Individuals with strong ability to learn and explore new technologies and who are able to demonstrate good analysis and problem solving skills are preferred. Familiar with database system. EDA or VLSI design knowledge are preferred. Self-motivation, self-discipline and the ability to set personal goals and work consistently towards them in a dynamic environment will go far towards contributing to your success.
