Practical Product Manager: not Science Projects/ File Archival

People don’t buy science projects anymore.  Can you tell us a story about a product that you drove from a napkin to revenue in a B2B market?  Can you conceptualize a sound revenue creating plan ; make a business case; sell it internally are detailed enough to drive the technical details.

 

Our Client is a market leader in a hot market growing very rapidly: Storage & Backup, Archival Data Privacy & Protection



Classical Product Management Role

 

Define and deliver new applications, from cradle-to-grave including strategy development in a company where the Execs are around the corner

 

Create product strategy, roadmap, plans, and product requirements process for existing and/or new products.

Execute product development collaborating closely with engineering to ensure that the firm's offerings continue to anticipate and lead the market.

Partner with Product Marketing to identify holes in existing market solutions and unmet needs in the marketplace. Ensure, through usability testing, that our client solutions are best in class in ease of use, elegance in design, and performance.

Take lead responsibility for decisions in regards to feature/timeline tradeoffs, user interface decisions, and all other product related issues.

Requirements:

 BS in CS2+ years Product Management experience in a B2B environmentExperience with File and Email Archival Technologies preferred International Experience preferred Experience taking 1 or more products from concept to revenue1-3 years experience working in global organizations.
