Pre-Sales Engineer (C++/Java) - Financial Trading/Market Data Software Experience

PRE-SALES/POST-SALES ENGINEER NEEDED!

MUST HAVE C++ AND JAVA WITH .NET BEING A STRONG PLUS.  ALSO MUST HAVE FINANCIAL TRADING / MARKET DATA INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE.

Position Overview

Our client is seeking Technical Pre & Post Sales Engineers in New York and London with superior application development expertise, business knowledge, and customer interfacing and level one technical support experience.  This position is more pre-sales with customer interfacing than post sales, but candidates need to know both roles.

Key Responsibilities
• Pre-Sales support through technical and business level presentations and product demonstrations.
• Design and implement proof of concept/pilot projects. 
• On-site delivery of installation, training and consulting services.
• Design and implement client requested customizations and extensions.
• Architect and design client implementations of company products.
• Assist clients in the integration and deployment of company products
• Provide ongoing production support.
• Build and manage long-term client relationships.

Required Skills
• Experience with enterprise software system design and implementation specifically with trading systems or financial market data systems is a must.
• 3+ years of pre-sales and/or post-sales experience.
• Experienced in Ongoing Level One Support.
• Strong programming skills in C, C++, and Java.
• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field.

Desired "Nice to Have" Skills
• .NET experience.
• Ability to quickly understand customer requirements and work with customer's development team to develop solutions.
• Consulting experience is a big plus.
• Good presentation skills, project management skills, and customer interaction skills.
• Strong communication skills, along with the vision and self-motivation necessary to create and ensure success.

Compensation
Compensation consists of a competitive base salary commensurate with experience level as well as a bonus in the range of 25% and equity in the form of stock options.
