Oracle e-Business Suite Analyst  or Programmer/AnalystPrincipal e-Business Suite Programmer/Analyst Location: Hunt Valley, MD Type:  Full time perm placement preferred, but contractors welcome Salary: 80k to 120K    Our client located in Hunt Valley, MD, has an immediate need for multiple Oracle e-Business Suite Analysts and Programmers.  You can join them as a full time employee or as a contractor.This is an excellent opportunity with a company that was rated as one of the best places to work in 2006 by the Baltimore Business Journal. They offer a competitive salary and excellent benefits including a pension plan.  This is a stable company with an excellent employee retention rate.  If you join them as an employee, they will likely get you a security clearance.Job Description:  Work with business applications group and other groups to collect and document their requirements and perform analysis of requirements to determine the best solution to meet internal customers' requirements. Assist in creation of new and/or modify existing programs to implement the selected solution. Troubleshoot and test technical and functional problems, bugs, and issues, as well as the related customizations and interfaces. Work with Oracle support to resolve problems. This company has Principal positions (it is required that you have both analysis and programming experience) available, and positions that do not require the programming experience.In particular, this company would like to find someone who has significant experience with the Oracle Manufacturing module or someone with expertise in the Quality module.  This is a large plus, but not required.  They also use Financials, Projects, Procurement, and HR.   Requirements: * BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, CPA or equivalent experience required. * 3 years experience working with Oracle Financials modules (9i or higher). * 1 year experience implementing customizations with Oracle (9i or higher). * Experience with process development, configuration design and implementation, testing, documentation and technical writing capabilities. * Expert knowledge using Toad/SQL developer, Oracle Developer Toolkit (Forms and Reports), Oracle Workflow Builder 2.0/2.5 & Developer, SQL*Plus & PL/SQL tuning, Interface Design and Development. * Oracle Reports 6i and Discoverer. * Work non-standard working hours when required by project. * Analyze a complex business problem and evaluate the impact of potential solutions from both a business and technical perspective.
