Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop Java based Online Banking and Bill Payment systems. Create design specifications, object models, and unit test plans. Primary duties involve server side applications and high-volume batch processing systems. Responsibilities also include real-time transaction processing systems. In addition, Web based user interface development is required for internal payment operations staff. Provide 3rd tier application support for critical production problems. Work closely with technical directors, project managers, database engineers, and test engineers.
Qualifications & Skills:B.S. in Computer Science or equivalentPossess strong communication and collaboration skills5+ years experience in a rigorous production Software Development organization5+ years Java programming experience J2EE, EJB, JMS, JSP, Servlets, etc3+ years distributed/parallel processing in Java3+ years UML (Class and Sequence Diagram)Several years of experience working in high-transaction processing systemsSeveral years of software development experience in a lead position is requiredExperience working in e-commerce systems, processing financial transactions. Knowledge of ACH Financial transactions is a plus.Strong object oriented design, modeling, and programming skillsExperience with Eclipse Java development environment and JBoss application server preferredWorking knowledge of HTML/XHTML, CSS, JavaScript/DOM, helpfulExtensive experience programming in Java using open source frameworks including Spring, JUnit, and XMLExperience with source control systems such as ClearCase, Subversion, and VSSKnowledge in additional programming languages.
