Principle Designer

The Principal Designer will develop LogMeIn’s visual design to effectively communicate LogMeIn’s brand, positioning, and value to our consumer and business markets.  He/she will have responsibility for translating and implementing LogMeIn’s brand into website and product design as well as brand standards.  The Principal Designer will work with LMI’s other designers, as well as external designers as needed, to execute LMI’s visual branding across all media. 

Core responsibilities of this role include:Communicating complex ideas through world-class design that works across all media Translating business and product requirements into innovative user-interfaces Inspiring and mentoring geographically dispersed design teams Creating design concepts to meet diverse marketing objectives (direct response, brand building, product UI, internal communications) Building an agile design process to support speed-to-market Keeping abreast of trends and innovation in design, and sharing learning within LMI Significant travel between LMI’s development centers in Budapest and Woburn, MA US

Personal qualifications and skills:Outstanding sense of design and ability to deliver breakthrough creative Adept with all design tools such as Quark, Photoshop, Flash, Powerpoint, etc. Proven experience with software user-interface design; SaaS experience a plus Skilled with HTML; experience in design for Javascript, .net and C++ programming Good interpersonal skills; ability to establish leadership, inspire confidence, and work across cultures and organizations 5 to 7 years design experience, across media, including development of brand ID Undergraduate degree – Graphic design or arts preferred Strong portfolio
