Cheyenne Mountain EntertainmentTM is a rapidly growing video game andentertainment company looking for Producer or a MMO Game Company!Position Summary:  The producer will be process and schedule oriented with exceptional communication skills. He or she will work closely with programmers, artists, sound designers, testers and members of the executive team as well as external developers and outsourcing vendors. Need to manage time efficiently and work with schedules, milestones and collect feedback from internal and external teams. Assess and manage risk. Produce a game from start to finish with a mindset and skills of a project manager. Technical writing skills and an ability to mentor, team build and keep morale high.Essential Functions of the Position:•  Understand, refine, maintain and disseminate the product vision with Sr. Producer. •  Identify and resolve conflicts between schedule, budget and design goals•  Liaises with different departments to facilitate and drive communication (programming, art, design and business personnel)•  Works with department leads to determine resources necessary to see projects through to completion •  Identify and resolve design discrepancies and conflict.•  Coordinates, tracks and manages the activities of personnel to ensure that project tasks are completed on time •  Provides motivation and direction to ensure that project goals, objectives, milestones, and deliverables are achieved •  Facilitates team and department meetings to reach decisions effectively Contributes to a positive work environment and ensures project forward momentum •  Assists the Senior Producer with creative and organizational tasks as necessary and other duties as may be assigned •  Knowledge of software development process, project management and performance management •  Foster positive working relationship and teamwork within the development teams with an emphasis on communication.•  Maintain close communication with outside developers to ensure they meet contractual requirements.•  Manages the performance review process for direct reports, and is ultimately responsible for completing timely performance reviews. •  Identifies potential staff performance problems in advance and works with leads and HR to prevent them. •  Settles project related conflicts and disputes among the team. •  Manages the process of counseling marginal performers, according to HR policies. •  Mentors and serves as a technical and business resource to associate producers, assisting them in the resolution of problems, leading them on larger projects, helping them grown in their roles. Minimum Requirements (education, years of experience, specific skills, licenses, certifications):•  Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
