Currently we are looking for a Product Engineer to work as a member of the client services team. The Product Engineer will perform various post-sales support duties including but not limited to:

Apply their technical expertise in support of SilkRoad's OpenHire product. Use your problem solving skills to work with support, implementation and engineering staffs to resolve technical issues. Organize technical problem solving strategies clearly and present them effectively to all concerned parties. Act as the primary technical SME on proposals and RFP responses. Give technical presentations on products when needed. Provide informal advice on what products will meet the customer’s needs. Write formal documents such as targeted white papers. Work with the Product Manager to organize and prioritize efforts to correct technical issues.

Required Skillis:

 BS from an accredited 4-year college or university. Effective Communicator – Demonstrates ability to communicate effectively with management/peers to achieve results. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from internal resources and customers. Communicate especially well and motivate others outside and inside the department to resolve issues and accomplish work through various company resources. Must have excellent written, verbal and presentation skills in order to effectively present information to internal resources, customers and management Familiarity with software lifecycle (requirements, design, code, test). Continuous Learner - Seeks out challenges/stretches individual goals to improve skills. Results Focused - Demonstrates ability to overcome obstacles to complete individual/team goals. Creative Thinker – Understands team goals & values and generates new ideas to contribute to the success of the team. Excellent problem identification and problem solving skills.
