Monitors the development of business plans, managing lifecycles, and product positioning in the marketplace. Reduces broad concepts and business strategies into structured product marketing plans. Oversees market research, monitors competitive activity, and identifies customer needs. Establishes pricing strategies. Interacts with engineering, manufacturing and sales to enhance existing product(s) or product line(s). Leads new product definition and business plans with joint departments. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. Duties & Responsibilities1. Ensure acceptable revenue growth and margin performance at product line level.2. Develop concise, detailed product-line level business plans.3. Analyze and report on competition, risks and new technologies.4. Develop strategic and tactical initiatives.5. Oversee operations, finances, marketing and sales strategies.6. Educate and train Itron employees on the products7. Ensure that product delivery expectations are set consistent with lead time constraints.8. Manage the flow of information from the marketplace to product development and business partners.9. Collect market feedback on products and services.10. Create product updates, application notes and technical bulletins.11. Assist in the pricing and packaging of products.12. Experience with product management in a wireless network product would be a tremendous plus Experience: 7 to 10 yearsEducation: BS in Engineering, computer science, or businessCertifications: Travel Requirements:50% to 70% RESPOND HERE!
