Job Summary:The Product Line Manager has overall responsibility for the products and services for several business units: including Clinicals, Medical Necessity and Compliance, Consulting Services and Care Innovation. This position will manage a team of product marketing managers responsible for the specific products and services in the various business units. This position will lead the growth of these products and services in billings, manage the departmental budget and manage the staff development, recruiting and hiring. The Product Line Maketing Manager owns the aggregate growth billing numbers and is accountable for forecasts and sales. Candidate should have a successful track record in leading teams and have strong strategic planning skills. Minimum of 5+ years of successful product marketing and management, preferably in healthcare and software related. This individual must have a strong knowledge of the healthcare market, business solutions, and operations management. A successful candidate will have demonstrated success in sales and/or marketing of complex software solutions to both departmental and “C” level executives. Market research and competitive analysis experience is required. Must have excellent written communication, verbal communication and presentation skills. Must have good organizational skills, problem solving skills, and ability to work independently, as well as part of a team. Location:This position will be located in Salt Lake City, UT . Compensation and Benefits Information: This position is a 3M Health Information Systems, Inc position and is therefore not a 3M benefited position. Performance (SMART) Objectives: The following describes the most important objectives the person filling this position will need to meet within the first year in order to be successful in the position: Achieve billing and growth goals for the HDM/DI, Clinicals, Medical Necessity and Compliance, Consulting Services and Care Innovation. Protect the core through customer retention. Recruit, hire and train Product Marketing Manager staff. Ensure Product plans and delivery dates are assigned, communicated and executed. Develop product roadmap's for each product family for planning 24 months in the future. Ensure product billing forecast are on target and reports produced on quarterly basis as part of product reviews.Basic/Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, business or related field required or equivalent experience required. MBA or equivalent preferred.
