Product Manager

Position Description:

RealNetworks is the leading creator of digital media services and software including Rhapsody®, RealPlayer®, RealPlayer® 11, casual PC and mobile games, and Mobile Music, Video, and Ringback Tones.We are looking for an experienced product management candidate to help our team develop, launch, and manage new versions of RealPlayer as well as some new exciting products. This person will be primarily responsible for the successful analysis, definition, planning, release, and overall ownership of exciting new products and services. A proven track record of taking products from inception to launch is essential. Qualifications include exceptional analytical skills, creative thinking, and proven leadership in product management. The ideal candidate has extensive experience identifying and researching customer needs, developing marketing and business requirements, and working with a development team to ensure that each product is planned, created, tested, and deployed. Experience marketing online and offline consumer products/services, doing end-user research, tracking financial metrics, and managing a consumer product through out it’s lifecycleRequired Skills:• Requires 5+ years relevant industry and/or product management • Must have proven track record of championing products internally as well as marketing to consumers • Must have track record of working successfully with program management and development organizations • Must also be able to show ability to work both independently and in a team environment• Evidence of strong drive to overcome obstacles and deliver results is essential• Analysis, reporting, and customer connection & outreach to determine service and product improvement opportunities.
