Job Description Product Manager--Clinical Trials Location: Redwood Shores CA 94065 or Burglington, MA 01803 The Life Sciences Product Management team focuses on building software solutions to address the clinical research needs of the pharmaceutical, biologics and devices industries As a member of the functional product management team you will:· be responsible for analyzing and reviewing business requirements· in collaboration with strategy, develoment and QC, create, modify, and extend specifications of functional solutions in the Life Sciences domain work closely with application teams · work with engineering to educate them on the solution and recommend design patterns. The focus of these activities will be on the analytics of clinical trial management. As a member of the product development division, you will define product requirements and or strategy. Gather and analyze information to define product requirements and review design specifications. Communicate product strategy and functionality. Initiate and foster relationships with other groups. Review product documentation and collateral. Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities. Duties and tasks are varied and complex requiring independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. Preferred Qualifications: BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience. practical experience in the conduct of clinical trials, e.g., as a CRA, Study Manager or Program Manager at one or more pharmaceutical research sponsor organization familiarity with use of analytics products in managing the conduct of trials experience with specifying, building, and modifying analytics requests and displays (knowledge of Oracle Business Intelligence, Enterprise Edition, in particular is a plus) experience with using at least one clinical data management system and one clinical trial management system excellent verbal and written communication skills, to be exercised both internally with co-workers, and externally with current and potential customers experience creating product specification and interfacing with engineers in an IT environment Process:Interested candidates may e-mail resumes directly to Oracle Corporation Recruiting for immediate consideration, jason.nowell@oracle.com .
