Product Manager - HRIS, benefits, payroll

Summary: The Product Manager is the architect of Motivano's product offering and the key driver of product line success and adoption by the customer base. He/She drives the vision & strategy of the product line and its delivery and execution across the organization.  The Product Manager initiates and oversees the coordination of products throughout their lifecycle, from strategic definition to end-of-life planning, develops the product strategy and translates customer/clients needs into new features and new services, and writes and implements product specifications.

 



Duties & Responsibilities:

 Define and maintain product strategy, product revenue, market adoption & penetration goals; perform competitive analysis and identify areas for competitive differentiation.Identify new market segments and opportunities and develop clear business cases for new products and features.Develop and communicate a prioritized product delivery roadmap.Produce and maintain product documentationPrepare business requirement documentsWork with IT resources to help manage overall product lifecycle and provide input during development.Responsible for end-to-end success of product during product enhancement lifecycle. from discovery to deployment, including discovery, development, QA, User Acceptance Testing.Act as Subject Matter Expert providing input to cross-functional team members for development of product documentation, collateral material, including user guides, product sheets, and sales presentations.Oversee management of defects and bugs; analyze root causes of problems to provide direction for corrections and enhancements.Provide direction to Product Support staff on product updates and maintenance.Stay abreast of rules and regulation changes that affect the healthcare and insurance industries.Lead product research and development.Develop clear metrics for (product) success (e.g. profitability, ROI, service standards, membership target) to drive profitability and customer satisfaction.

 

Candidate Requirements:3-5 years experience with HRIS systems (required)Knowledge of employee benefits and payrollAbility to build business cases to justify product features and functions.Proven ability to create complete and accurate Business Requirements Document.Proven ability to work in cross-functional environments including sales, marketing, business management, customer support and engineering teams. Ability to generate creative and innovative solutions for business problems and opportunitiesDemonstrated ability to manage multiple competing prioritiesContagious can-do attitude and self-sufficient work style. Experience interacting with senior executives both internally and externally. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Experience with MS Office, VisioProject management experience strongly preferred.Bachelors Degree required
