Product Manager - Sims LabelCross functional team player and enthusiastic about tactical marketing executionPrimary Responsibilities:- Work with development team to define product positioning, feature sets and licensing applications - Work with the VP of Marketing, Marketing Director and Product Marketing Team members to develop and execute all aspects the Product Marketing Plan, which includes product positioning, target market identification and analysis, forecasting, budgeting, category & competitive analysis and pricing analysis - Work with Consumer Marketing teams (Advertising, Creative Services, PR, Entertainment marketing, CRM etc?) to develop all consumer marketing materials, including packaging. - Partner with game development teams to assist in the development of game concepts and features by providing constant market data in terms of platform trends, competitive activities, and retail sales - Supervise and manage the development of consumer qualitative research (focus groups, product reviews) as needed by consumer marketing and game development teams - Partner with Brand Development team & Strategic Partners to develop & implement promotions - Present title at quarterly sales meetings. - Work with trade marketing dept to develop retailer promotions and trade advertising - Create and manage asset calendar to meet all Marketing and PR milestones. - Drive the development of key assets including screen shots, game footage, visual renders, sizzle videos, and b-roll - Drive the organization and distribution of assets to marketing and PR partners through internal intranet site: TEAMS - Manage the preparation and onsite support for sales meetings, trade shows, press events, and consumer launch events - Be a specialist about EA's and competitions products within the product category - Develop and manage research plan, including focus groups, surveys and post analysis information sharing - Gather market data to measure effectiveness of marketing activities and maintain monthly buzz metrics - Manage the daily execution of marketing campaign responsibilitiesSkill / Core Competency:- Gaming knowledge and expertise, with deep understanding of industry dynamics, trends and players - Project coordination and research experience - Proven communication and written skills - Proven organizational skills - Some launch execution and/or strong campaign launch execution experience - Technical understanding of business planning, such as budgeting, forecasting and long range planning - Ability to apply critical thinking to analysis with excellent / intuitive analytical and problem solving skills - Proven project management experience; demonstrated ability to recommend, develop, manage and drive projects to successful completion - Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills - Strong communications skills and ability to navigate through complex reporting structures - Previous experience working with creative teams - Understanding of product positioning and brand equity - Experience managing marketing promotions with strategic partnersQualifications:- 3-5 years of marketing experience in games, consumer packaged goods, entertainment, lifestyle, toys, consumer media and/or leisure industries. - New product or launch experience - B.A. degree, MBA preferred - Knowledge & interest in gaming industry (PC & console) highly desired - Some travel required To apply to this position, please click on the link below: http://jobs.ea.com/pljb/ElectronicArts/United_States/applicant/jobClick.jsp?count=1&id=7455
