Product Marketing Manager - FireFly (1176)

DescriptionThe Product Marketing Manager FireFly will be responsible for defining, developing, and refining the outbound marketing materials that shape external perceptions about this game-changing seismic imaging solution among oil & gas customers, seismic contractors, investors, and media. Working in partnership with Corporate Marketing, Land Imaging Systems, and Global Business Development, the Product Marketing Manager FireFly will be responsible for: Sourcing and developing the content (both written and visual) that populate our print collateral, including brochures, case studies, white papers, and industry articles Preparing PowerPoint pitch decks that are used by both executives and technical sales personnel to communicate the FireFly value proposition at customer meetings, industry forums, trade shows, investor events, and through Webinars Developing the content (including written and still, motion, and animated imagery) that will be used in digital marketing campaigns such as emails or direct-mailed DVDs Acting as the shaper and content aggregator of FireFly sales tools Aggregating a Rolodex of customer contact information Quarterbacking the FireFly-related aspects of major events, including campaigns to generate customer awareness before the event and on-site management of event logisticsRequired SkillsREQUIRED SKILLSThe successful candidate will be a proactive, high-energy marketing professional with broad experience in marketing technology-oriented solutions to large and medium sized businesses. The candidate will have: Outstanding written communication skills can look at a blank slate and create a high-impact series of messages that are laymen approachable Outstanding PowerPoint skills The ability to quickly absorb abstract and/or technical concepts and translate them into easily understood and readily believed messages The passion to contribute to our highest profile product line and be accepted by an award-winning peer group of marketing professionals Basic experience and understanding of the upstream (E&P) petroleum industryRequired ExperienceREQUIRED EXPERIENCE The candidate MUST have: A technical undergraduate degree and/or at least five years of direct work experience with a technology-intensive firm Preferable an MBA or graduate degree in marketing or a related discipline At least 10 years of marketing experience in a B2B setting The gravitas and backbone to go ''toe-to toe'' with the SVP of Marketing, the CEO and other executives and technical professionals
