We are looking to add an Product Marketing Specialist to join our Marketing Team in our Burlington, MA headquarters.
Job Description:
This individual will provide a wide range of marketing services focused on building awareness and leads for a line of backup and restore software products through their entire lifecycle. A critical component of this role is to understand the market and customer base then develop effective tactics that drive sales revenue through multiple channels. This person will contribute to the sales & channels team market knowledge & sales tools portfolio including demo creation, webinar material, collateral, competition and product capability presentations that deliver our value propositions to customers and channel partners.
In addition, you will be a source with respect to application needs, market trends & results. A significant portion of time will be dedicated to the development & delivery of product- specific marketing programs, including assessment for untapped opportunities in existing or new markets.
Acronis has the atmosphere of a startup. You will be asked to wear multiple hats and lead various activities, planned and unplanned, on a daily basis. This position requires excellent multitasking skills, experience marketing in a software technology, dynamic environment as well as the ability to work with tight schedules.
Experience:Minimum 5 years in s/w technology product marketing roles planning/ executing lead/ awareness programs.Working knowledge of server software including disaster recovery products, a plus.Experience in new product development/announcement processes, including training & lead generation.Demonstrated success in vertical marketing tactics, a plus.Proven record of developing product specific messages& positioning for software technologiesExperience launching and marketing new productsSuccess in working with direct & indirect channels to develop & execute programsLed content creation projects that leverage both internal and/or external resourcesHighly knowledgeable in quality lead generation including software tools to evaluate successBuilding ROI case studies that demonstrate customer acceptance & value for Acronis productsCreating customer surveys to assist Sales, Marketing & Engineering.
