Our interactive communication solution is a blend of advanced multi-channel applications built upon enterprise software delivered through a software service model.  Varolii’s Production Support Engineers work across functional groups handling production issues and complex inquiries for customers along with special projects as assigned.  This opportunity is ideal for junior to mid-level technical staff looking for opportunities with growth potential.

Can you?

· Provide basic to intermediate technical production/applications support while delivering the highest levels of customer service

· Work independently and within the team to gather information, pose workarounds, carry out necessary research, and provide an in-depth analysis to resolve production/application issues

· Communicate the status of production issues, customer requests and inquiries via phone, email, IM and/or face-to-face conversations to enterprise-level customers, maintaining ownership until resolution

· Educate and empower the customer to understand how to perform tasks and investigations on their own

· Provide insight and assist in the development of production support procedures, policies and documentation

· Take on side projects as needed and assigned

 

Are you?

· Self-motivated and able to work well autonomously or within a team environment

· Experienced with trouble-shooting and problem resolution.

· Able to build a working knowledge of company applications, production support policies and procedures quickly

· A multi-tasker

· Familiar with UNIX/Linux, SQL, shell scripting, XML, network protocols, programming concepts, database principles or some combination of these technologies

· Willing to do what it takes to help build a world-class customer service organization
