We are currently recruiting for a Production Control Analyst to join our Richmond team. The ideal candidate will ensure that customer claim files are built, sent, and received properly on time, every time, each day by individual payers. This position is directly responsible for every one of the millions of claims that is handled by the company.Responsibilities Include:• Support Processors to ensure all inbound and outbound are functioning properly, and resolving issues.• Compare the Production Control table against claims that were built and sent during the day to identify any differences that could lead to potential problems later. • Ensure all LOB’s are built, sent, and have reconciled successfully.• Review e-mails received concerning Production Control table entries and troubleshoot where necessary.• Send out broadcast messages for any outstanding items that have surpassed the customers’ expected turnaround time.• Identify problems with response files and remit files, and alert Support of any issues, following up with Customer when appropriate. • Alert customers and support staff of issues that have multiple customer impact via broadcast message. Identify problems with various bulletin boards. Identify problems with outgoing claim files or scripts. • Ensure scripts are being utilized effectively• Review and work cases assigned to Production Control from other departments, creating new linked cases where necessary and working with development to create fixes to production if needed.Qualifications:EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.• 1+ year experience in EDI related industry; Programming experience beneficial.• Knowledge of programming.• Knowledge of different types of transfer protocols.• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.• Strong problem solving ability.Misys Healthcare: Experience, Solutions, Results
