With the recent evolution of its overall service offering to include an in-house Online Review and Case Data Management Tool (XDD-ORT), Advanced Search Tool (XDD-AST), Forensics Division and top-level executives in key positions, Xact Data Discovery is positioned perfectly to meet and exceed the needs of clients on every Discovery front.
Xact is currently searching for self-motivated individuals with experience in high volume scanning. These candidates will be responsible for the day-to-day imaging and scanning department. Successful candidates will have the following qualifications:
*Demonstrated ability to oversee and coordinate numerous complex and time-critical litigation support activities simultaneously, including technical/data processing support activities.
*A history of providing strategic management direction to grow revenues, control production costs and achieves budget profit.
*Image scanning/conversion and document coding experience.
*A minimum of 2 years previous supervisory experience in a related field.
*In-depth knowledge of document management, imaging, scanning, indexing, and coding.
*Hands-on familiarity with data processing environment, including office automation networks, PC-based databases, server-based databases and other applications.
Education/Experience/Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Must have one to two years experience with production oriented scanning software.
• Solid computer skills (MS Office, scanners, databases).
• Strong understanding of load files (Summation, Concordance, Ipro, Introspect).
• Strong understanding of OCR, Electronic Branding, and PDF conversion.
• Familiar with document prepping processes.
• Work well under pressure.
• Interpret written instructions on Instruction Forms for accurate completion of jobs.
• Electronic Data Discovery experience preferred.
• Able to exercise a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion and decision-making to achieve organizational objectives.
• Ability to share information effectively and provide appropriate direction to staff.
