Professional Services Consultant - Enterprise Architect

McAfee offers in-depth protection-from the network core, to perimeter defense to complete desktop security.   The company was recently named Best Employer in CMP Media’s Software Development Reader’s Choice Awards along with being chosen the Best Software Company at the CompTIA Breakaway Conference.   DESCRIPTION OF FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Sr. Consultant is responsible for consulting project activities from client identification through final invoicing.  Technical responsibilities include problem identification, system architecture definition, hardware/software specification and/or design, implementation, testing, client training, and product deployment.  A Professional Services consultant level 5 will be required to interface with company and client managers. The following responsibilities and skills are required for this position.   Manage and perform client engagements related to McAfee product service’s offerings Create end of engagement reports describing engagement findings and analysis work Help develop and maintain intellectual capital within the Professional Services department Help identify and implement improvements in existing processes and procedures Maintain technical proficiency through self-training or formal training Help identify and develop new clients and Professional services offerings Provide knowledge sharing throughout the Professional services team Mentor consultant peers in new techniques, tools and other job skills Teach McAfee product training courses Helping with update and/or create training course material Manage simultaneous projects Create Statement of Work/Proposals 85% required; 100% travel possible  EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: At least 4 years experience in Information Technology. Experience in installing, configuring, and administering McAfee products. Experience in the information and data security fields are highly desirable. QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION: Requires a BS degree. CISSP certification is highly desirable.
