Program Analyst
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
The incumbent serves as a technical advisor or team leader providing the full range of analytical and advisory support services. Provides guidance and assistance on the entire range of technical issues, especially in the area of maintaining and supporting FCMS to end-users and senior staff. Evaluates and interprets comprehensive systemic change requests and makes recommendations to management as to feasibility and estimated level of effort. Plans, organizes, and/or leads large scale project or team efforts including other subject matter experts involving highly technical computer and business process issues. Analyzes, develops, and recommends the establishment of FCMS standards, specifications, guides and other appropriate documentation concerning system documentation, program testing, and applications programming techniques. Loads, receives and conducts first tier due diligence for all 60 plus commodity vendors supported through FCMS. Oversees the notification of end-users who fall outside of policy or guidelines regarding cell phone usage and other exception reporting guidelines. Provides classroom, ad-hoc, on-line and other types of tutorials and training for FCMS as required by end users.
EDUCATION :
A bachelor degree or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related subject is preferred.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
Web based and Client based applications using: Microsoft .Net
(1.1, 2.0 and 3.0/3.5 Framework), C#, DHTML, CSS, AJAX, ASP.net,
XML/SOAP, HTTP and TCP/IP communication protocols, SQL Server 2000/2005,
Smart Client based application development.
Strong in .net 2.0 and windows smart client development with good knowledge of database administration (design,installation, and troubleshooting) of MS SQL Server 2005, and MS Access.
Additional Desired Skills for the ideal candidate will be WPF,
WF(Windows Workflow), Silverlight, XAML, Sharepoint, LINQ, and Oracle.
