Meets with customers/clients and represents organization in cross-functional environments. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.·  Applies technical skills to design and modify client/server application.·  May develop or assist in developing product/process documentation, product introduction, distribution and/or client training.·  Provides solutions to a variety of difficult problems of diverse scope, which may require the application of evolving technologies.·  Participates as a technical reference in decisions affecting the end-user computing environment. Required Skills:·  A minimum of 10 years of application development experience.·  Fully capable in application of theory, principles and concepts of systems application over the entire IS product life cycle.·  Provides own goal setting and works independently with general direction.·  Working in multiple-developer environment to insure architecture integrity.·  Has experience working with source code control and configuration management methodology.·  Excellent system documentation skills.·  Delphi 6/7·  Oracle skills (8i & 9i); PL/SQL, Stored procedures·  Logical and physical database design Secondary Skills:·  Has experience with supply chain, merchandising or warehouse management systems. ·  Experience in development of client/server, N-TIER and web-based solutions using Java. Education:  Requires a B.S. degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
