Programmer Development

MEDITECH is looking for entry-level programmers to develop software for our Health Care Information System. As a member of MEDITECH's Development Division, you will receive exposure to MEDITECH's own programming languages, network protocols, operating and database systems. Training will be provided to qualified individuals in both the medical application software and MEDITECH technology. For proper assessment of your technical abilities, a problem solving analytical quiz will be administered to candidates who are selected to interview.Responsibilities: * Becoming proficient with the operating systems, languages and programming tools necessary to develop application solutions * Learning an assigned product group to a user level of understanding * Correcting reported problems with code that is efficient, clear, and with a high degree of quality * Documenting all work, from design to final solution, completely and clearly * Staying abreast of technology advancements and changes within the health care industry * Participating in meetings and conference calls where technical solutions are explained to our customers in end user terminologyQualifications: * Strong analytical skills * Ability to work as part of a team and independently * Excellent communication skills * Ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment * Strong desire to learnEducation & Experience: Computer course work in computer programming related fields, Associates Degree or a Bachelors Degree.
