Project Analyst for Resource Management

 

Portfolio and Project Monitoring & Maintenance

- Analyze Resource Capacity and Demand and make recommendations

- Identify emerging skills, excess, and shortage

- Produce management information reports

- Support and Advise Project Managers, or other project lead personnel, in the development of optimal project and staffing plans

- Support and Advise Functional Managers, or managers with resource management responsibilities, with resource pool analysis

- Responsible for the completion of enterprise resource management roll-out and long-term sustainability of the system

 

Project Reviews and Audits

- Conduct project audits

- Participate in reviews of Project Management Plans, Constituent Plans, and Project Plans.

- Identffy non-compliance of project management office policy, procedures, and standards

 

Training and Mentoring

- Provide training and 1-1 mentoring to internal clients.  Training may take the form of hands-on workshops or classroom lead training.

 

Areas of training:

- Project Management and resource management tools

- Project Management Best Practices

- PMO Methodology, Policy, Procedures, and Standards

 

Project Management Methodology

- Recommend, develop, and implement PMO policy, procedures,  tandards improvements and best practices.

- Develop and present Project Management Methodology presentations to internal and external clients.

 

Skills and Experience Requirements:

 Strong MicroSoft Project expertise Strong analytical and problem solving skills Good communication and presentations skills.Resource management experience Experience with development of project schedules and resource plans Required: 3-5 years project management experiencePreferred: 3+ years IT project management, 1+ years resource managementRequired: 3+ MS Project, Strong Analytical and problems solving skills.  Good communication and presentation skills.Preferred: 3+ MS Project, 1+ ITG Project Management, 1+ ITG Resource Management
